急！毕业生找到工作前，student pass需要换成visit pass吗？？？

国大本科毕业生，7月9日领到毕业证
现在还在投简历和面试阶段，想等找到合适的工作再签
在找到工作申请EP之前，student pass需要换成visit pass吗？？？
student pass上写的到期日是2012年下半年

如果必须换成visit pass，我这样的情况（毕业1个月之后才去换证），会有什么影响么？

我也是年初刚poly毕业，4月底学生证就过期了， 我在它过期前去移民厅4楼办理了取消学生证，他们就自动给了我3个月的白卡！ 如果你是担心不换签证有影响，可以考虑先去取消学生证，然后拿那3个月的白卡。因为是政府学校，所以白卡有3个月，如果私立的就只有一个月的。 通常3个月以内应该可以找到工作换ep 了。 我是后来因为有事回国了，白卡自动作废，然后申请的旅游签证回来的。现在也正找工作呢！分享一下，希望对你有帮助！:)

学生签证上的时间不意味着你一定可以待那么久。
中断或完成学业后七天内必须取消学生签证。

International students are required to surrender their Student's Pass to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority for cancellation within seven days from the date of cessation or termination of their studies.

ICA will issue you with a Social Visit Pass in your passport to allow you to exit the country. If you fail to do so, you will be deemed to be residing unlawfully in Singapore and will be liable for a fine, failing which you will be charged in court.
   Students may cancel their Student's Pass at Student Pass unit at ICA with the following documents
• A duly completed cancellation form;
• Student's valid travel document;
• The Student's Pass card;
• Student's Visit Pass and Disembarkation/Embarkation card, and
• A duly completed Disembarkation/Embarkation card (IMM Form 27A) where applicable will be provided at ICA counters
