请教一道小六科学题

毫无疑问，这道题的答案是3.想问的是如果意外地有两种植物的种子落在这棵老树上并生根发芽，比如含羞草和雏菊（例子不一定恰当，呵呵）population
是7种、8种还是9种呢？这两种和fern一样都是植物。
初中生物知识都还给老师了，不敢妄加猜测。麻烦大家解答一下，谢谢！

先看看下面这两张图：






这道题考的概念是：

• Producer （生产者）-利用简单的无机物合成有机物的自养生物。
• Consumer （消费者）-主要指以其他生物为食的各种动物。
• Decomposer （分解者）- 指生态系统中细菌、真菌和放线菌等具有分解能力的生物,也包括某些原生动物和腐食性动物
• Community （群落）- 具有直接或间接关系的多种生物种群的有规律的组合，具有复杂的种间关系。
• Population （种群）- 在一定空间范围内同时生活着的同种个体的集群。
  

很明显，如果再加两种植物就有了9个种群。

请问原问题为什么答案是3, 除了蛋，还有什么不是living things? 树算群落？

同问。查了几遍，选项三应该是8个POPULATIONS吧？EGG和BIRD是一个，其他的都是不同SPECIES.

TREE不能算COMMUNITY吧，COMMUNITY是一个集合概念。不管怎样，JJ帮着搞清楚概念最重要。

题目里写了"The diagram below shows a diversity of living things found on a tree....“。 所以我认为。。。树应该不能被算进去。
