提交陪读申请六周多了，还没有答复

提交陪读申请六周多了，还没有答复。曾经收到邮件。短期签证自动延一个月，如下：

Your Visit Pass (short term) which is issued on 02/03/2013 and valid till 01/04/2013 has been extended on the same condition to 01/05/2013 under Regulation 12(6) of Immigration Regulations.

You will be notified on the outcome of your application for Visit Pass (long term) via email. Alternatively, you may wish to check the outcome of your application by clicking on the Enquire Status/Make Payment link at e-VP main page.

不管成功不成功，6个多礼拜总应该有个结果吧，难道是网上提申请，申请得不对。请各位多指点。

这个一般是和担保人有关系，如果担保人帮很多人担保，一般就会时间较长。好的担保人大概只需要2周多一点
