在基督肢体中谦卑服侍

我凭着所赐我的恩对你们各人说：“不要看自己过于所当看的，要照着 神所分给各人信心的大小，看得合乎中道”（罗马书12:3）  

亲爱的弟兄姊妹们，你想知道能保守自己不偏离正道、常在上帝旨意中的秘诀吗？

就是不要高估自己！

箴言16:18里说：“骄傲在败坏以先，狂心在跌倒之前。”无数次，我们看到生活中一个又一个实例印证了这句话；无数次，我们看到信徒们陷入困境中，就是因为他们过高看待自己，认为自己非常聪明，没有不懂的事情。

那么你知道，接下来的事就是他们认为自己必须改正每一个人，而不是惟独让主耶稣作教会之首，他们要插手完成这个任务。

一旦这样的事情发生，他们正面摔地是早晚的事情，为什么？因为圣经说“ 神阻挡骄傲的人”（彼得前书5:5）

不要把自己置于被上帝阻挡的境地，要有一个谦卑的态度，严谨清醒地看待自己的才能。时刻都省察自己，当你的自大膨胀时，赶快悔改，谨记：你享有的每一件美好的事情、你取得的每一点滴的成功，都是上帝的恩典和祂的大能。

回顾你的生命，看看有多少次，你可能会失去上帝对你的恩赐；看看有多少次，当你盲目地犯每一个能够想到的错误时，上帝是以祂的温柔和宝贵的怜悯牵着你渡过一切难关。

不要把自己想成一个传奇人物，要将自己谦卑降服在上帝大能的手之下，让上帝行荣耀之事，避免自己经受摔倒之痛。

研经：彼得前书5:5-7，雅各书4:6-17

彼得前书5:5-7

5:5 你们年幼的也要顺服年长的，就是你们众人，也都要以谦卑束腰，彼此顺服。因为 神阻挡骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。  

5:6 所以你们要自卑，服在 神大能的手下，到了时候祂必叫你们升高。  

5:7 你们要将一切的忧虑卸给 神，因为祂顾念你们。  

雅各书4:6-17

4:6 但祂赐更多的恩典，所以经上说“　神阻挡骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。”  

4:7 故此你们要顺服 神，务要抵挡魔鬼，魔鬼就必离开你们逃跑了。  

4:8 你们亲近 神， 神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪，要洁净你们的手。心怀二意的人哪，要清洁你们的心。  

4:9 你们要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣，将喜笑变作悲哀、欢乐变作愁闷。  

4:10 务要在主面前自卑，主就必叫你们升高。  

4:11 弟兄们，你们不可彼此批评。人若批评弟兄、论断弟兄，就是批评律法、论断律法。你若论断律法，就不是遵行律法，乃是判断人的。  

4:12 设立律法和判断人的只有一位，就是那能救人也能灭人的，你是谁，竟敢论断别人呢？

4:13 嗐，你们有话说，今天明天我们要往某城里去，在那里住一年，作买卖得利。  

4:14 其实明天如何你们还不知道，你们的生命是甚么呢？你们原来是一片云雾，出现少时就不见了。  

4:15 你们只当说：“主若愿意，我们就可以活着，也可以作这事或作那事。”  

4:16 现今你们竟以张狂夸口，凡这样夸口都是恶的。  

4:17 人若知道行善却不去行，这就是他的罪了。

在此，我们夫妻感谢上帝，我们主耶稣基督的父，赐给我们美好的一天，也赐给我们你们这些忠心于主的弟兄姊妹们。

Humble Service in the Body of CHRIST

Romans 12:3

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith GOD has distributed to each of you.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Do you want to know one of the secrets of staying in the will of GOD, of keeping yourself from getting off track?

Don't overestimate yourself!

Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." How many times have we seen that borne out! How many times do we see believers get into trouble because they get an overblown idea of themselves. They begin to think they're so smart that they have it all figured out.

Then, the next thing you know, they're thinking they have to straighten everyone else out. Instead of just letting JESUS be HEAD of the Church, they feel like they have to step in and do the job.

Once that happens, it's just a matter of time before they're flat on their faces in failure. Why? Because the Bible says GOD resists the proud! (1 Pet. 5:5).

Don't put yourself in a position where GOD has to resist you. Rate your own abilities soberly. Adopt an attitude of humility. Keep a watch on yourself, and when you catch yourself getting puffed up with your own greatness, repent and remember that every good thing you enjoy and every bit of success you've had has come by the grace of GOD and by HIS power.

Look back on your life and see how many times you could have lost what GOD had given you. See how many times, when you were floundering around making every mistake imaginable, HIS tender and precious mercy pulled you through.

Don't become a legend in your own mind. Instead, humble yourself beneath the mighty hand of GOD, and let GOD do the exalting--that prevents some very painful falls.

1 Peter 5:5-7New International Version (NIV)

5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“GOD opposes the proud

    but shows favour to the humble.”

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under GOD’s mighty hand, that HE may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on HIM because HE cares for you.

6 But HE gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

But you—who are you to judge your neighbour?

Boasting About Tomorrow

13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the LORD’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. 17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

We give thanks to GOD, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, for this day and for you, faithful brothers and sisters.

上帝是至高无上的

平安弟兄姊妹们！

我们不仅要承认上帝至高无上的位格（那可称颂、独有权能的万王之王、万主之主---提摩太前书6:15），也要接受并且服从祂每一个神圣的旨意（愿你的国降临，愿你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上---马太福音6:10），不管经受什么样的苦难（不但如此，就是在患难中也是欢欢喜喜的，因为知道患难生忍耐---罗马书5:3）、艰难（在世上你们有苦难，但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界---约翰福音16:33；神既是公义的，就必将患难报应那加患难给你们的人---帖撒罗尼迦后书1:6）和迫害（你将要受的苦你不用怕。魔鬼要你们中间几个人下在监里，叫你们被试炼。你们必受患难十日。你务要至死忠心，我就赐给你那生命的冠冕---启示录2:10）都要如此。

作为上帝真正的跟从者，我们必须懂得，无论何种事情来临，都有上帝在掌管，并且我们要为了上帝的荣耀，把它作为上帝对我们的旨意而欣然接受（我们晓得万事都互相效力，叫爱 神的人得益处，就是按祂旨意被召的人---罗马书8:28）。

GOD is sovereign

Shalom Brothers n Sisters,

We must not only allow the LORD to take HIS place (GOD, the blessed and only RULER, the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS - 1 Tim. 6:15), but also accept HIS will in every providence ( - . . . Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven - Matt. 6:10). And whatever  the sufferings ( . . . but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance - Rom. 5:3), the trouble (" . . . . In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" - John 16:33 ; GOD is just: HE will pay back trouble to those who trouble you - 2 Thess 1:6), the suffer and persecution (do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown - Rev. 2:10).

As true followers of our LORD we must know whatever that comes, we must see GOD in it, and accept it as GOD's will to us (And we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love HIM, who been called according to HIS purpose - Rom. 8:28), for HIS glory and honor.

忍耐与坚韧

但忍耐也当成功，使你们成全完备、毫无缺欠（雅各书1:4）

亲爱的弟兄姊妹们，关于信心我谈过很多，但还有另一种与信心同等重要的力量，就是忍耐：坚守上帝的话语毫不动摇，即使你的胜利会来得慢一些。

忍耐不是自动式的，除非你使它运作，否则它不会自行运作。很多基督徒不明白这点，不知为何，他们认为信心和忍耐没有他们的帮助就自然会为他们运作，于是他们任由魔鬼撕扯自己的生命，然后会蠢蠢地说：“是的，我想上帝差下这些试探，是要坚固我的信心。”

你永远不要陷入这样的说辞！

首先，雅各说：“人被试探，不可说我是被 神试探，因为 神不能被恶试探，祂也不试探人。但各人被试探，乃是被自己的私欲牵引诱惑的。”（雅各1:13-14）其次，试探并不能坚固你的信心，事实上，你若放任它，它反而会毁了你的信心。

如果我给你一对哑铃，你不使用它，那它能使你更加强壮吗？丝毫不能。实际上，如果你不小心让一只哑铃掉在了脚上，那因为脚受伤，你反而会变得更加软弱。所以你要正确使用哑铃，它才能使你更强壮，对吗？

好，同样的道理，当你陷入魔鬼带给你的试探中时，如果你只是躺下，由它碾过你，那么受伤的就是你。但是，如果你让忍耐充分地运作起来、如果你坚持始终不变地信靠并坚定地倚赖上帝的话语，那么最终你就会是纯全、完备、毫无欠缺。

“毫无欠缺”，单单这个成语就应该足以让你确信，忍耐不是鼓励奖。忍耐，是一等一的力量，使上帝的承诺在你里面无限延伸。忍耐，是让你成为胜利者的强大力量。

研经：创世纪26:15-22

26:15 当他父亲亚伯拉罕在世的日子，他父亲的仆人所挖的井，非利士人全都塞住，填满了土。  

26:16 亚比米勒对以撒说：“你离开我们去吧，因为你比我们强盛得多。”  

26:17 以撒就离开那里，在基拉耳谷支搭帐棚，住在那里。  

26:18 当他父亲亚伯拉罕在世之日所挖的水井，因非利士人在亚伯拉罕死后塞住了，以撒就重新挖出来，仍照他父亲所叫的，叫那些井的名字。  

26:19 以撒的仆人在谷中挖井，便得了一口活水井。  

26:20 基拉耳的牧人与以撒的牧人争竞说：“这水是我们的。”以撒就给那井起名叫埃色，因为他们和他相争。〔埃色就是相争的意思〕  

26:21 以撒的仆人又挖了一口井，他们又为这井争竞，因此以撒给这井起名叫西提拿。〔西提拿就是为敌的意思〕  

26:22 以撒离开那里，又挖了一口井，他们不为这井争竞了，他就给那井起名叫利河伯．〔就是宽阔的意思〕他说：“耶和华现在给我们宽阔之地，我们必在这地昌盛。”

在此，我们夫妻感谢上帝，我们主耶稣基督的父，赐给我们美好的一天，也赐给我们你们这些忠心于主的弟兄姊妹们。

Patience and perseverance

James 1:4 New International Version (NIV)

4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

I talk a lot about faith. But there's another force that goes along with it that's just as important. It's patience, the ability to stand fast on the WORD of GOD even when your victory seems slow in coming.

Patience is not automatic. It won't go to work unless you let it go to work. So many people don't understand that. They somehow think faith and patience will go to work for them without their help. They just let the devil tear their lives apart and then they say silly things like, "Well, I guess GOD sent that trial to strengthen my faith."

Don't you ever get caught saying that!

In the first place, James says, "13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by GOD"; for GOD cannot be tempted by evil, and HE HIMSELF does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.… " (James 1:13-14). And in the second place, that trial isn't going to make your faith stronger. In fact, it'll destroy your faith if you'll let it.

If I were to give you a set of weights, would that set of weights make you any stronger? No. As a matter of fact, if you dropped one of them on your foot, you could end up painfully weaker. It's what you do with them that count, right?

Well, the same thing is true when you run into some kind of trying circumstance the devil's brought your way. If you just lay down and let it run over you, it will damage you. But if you'll let patience have her perfect work, if you'll remain consistently constant, trusting in and relying confidently on the WORD of GOD, you'll end up perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

"Wanting nothing" That phrase alone should convince you that patience is no consolation prize. It's a first-rate power that will put the promises of GOD within your reach. It's a force that will make a winner out of you.

15 So all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the time of his father Abraham, the Philistines stopped up, filling them with earth.

16 Then Abimelek said to Isaac, “Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us.”

17 So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar, where he settled. 18 Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them.

19 Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there. 20 But the herders of Gerar quarreled with those of Isaac and said, “The water is ours!” So he named the well Esek, because they disputed with him. 21 Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah. 22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. 若是去行     你们既知道这事，若是去行就有福了（约翰福音13:17）     若是去行。对上帝的话语只有理智上的认知是不够的，还必须有一个完全顺服祂的生命作为支持。但这不意味着我们是凭着行为被上帝认可，而是我们的行为是对上帝有真信心的明证。对上帝的信靠和服从，是永不可分的。     If you do them     John 13: 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.     If you do them. Intellectual perception is not enough, but must be backed up by commitment of life. This does not mean that our works are the basis of our acceptance by God, but that they are the evidence of a true faith. Trust and obedience are inseparable.

爱别人

“爱”意味着放弃——为别人的益处，牺牲自己的喜好、舒适、目标、保障、金钱、精力和时间。

这是舍己的爱，上帝希望你能够付出给其他信徒，就是以主耶稣爱你的方式来甘心乐意地爱其他人。

平安弟兄姊妹们！许多基督徒和传教士都知道约翰福音3:16说：“上帝爱世人，甚至将祂的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信祂的，不至灭亡，反得永生”，但却没有认识到（或是故意避开或隐瞒）约翰一书3:16-17里要我们做的：“主为我们舍命，我们从此就知道何为爱，我们也应当为弟兄舍命。凡有世上财物的，看见弟兄穷乏，却塞住怜恤的心，爱 神的心怎能存在他里面呢？”基督为担当我们的罪债而接受痛苦地死在十字架上，从永刑中拯救出我们（约翰福音10:11我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命）。而我们彼此相爱，可能不需要作出主耶稣那样“重价牺牲”的决定（不会经历到为人舍命），但是我们必须作出“彼此相爱”的决定及实际行动。对此，约翰和雅各就提到了物质援助的例子：凡有世上财物的，看见弟兄穷乏，却塞住怜恤的心，爱 神的心怎能存在他里面呢？（约翰一书3:17 ）；在 神我们的父面前，那清洁没有玷污的虔诚，就是看雇在患难中的孤儿寡妇，并且保守自己不沾染世俗（雅各书1:27）。

人有了 神的儿子就有生命，没有 神的儿子就没有生命（约翰一书5:12）。

那怎样才能知道我们有 神的儿子呢？

神的命令就是叫我们信祂儿子耶稣基督的名，且照祂所赐给我们的命令彼此相爱。遵守 神命令的，就住在 神里面，神也住在他里面。我们所以知道 神住在我们里面，是因祂所赐给我们的圣灵（约翰一书3:23）

Love others

“LOVE” means giving up - yielding my preferences, comfort, goals, security, money, energy, or time for the benefit of someone else.

This is the kind of sacrificial love GOD expects you to show other believers - a willingness to love them in the same way Jesus loves you.

Shalom Brothers and Sisters,

Many Christians and preachers who know, John 3:16 which says, “For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS one and only SON, that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life.” but are unaware of (or purposely avoid or shut-off) what 1 John 3:16-17 want us to do. It says “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of GOD abide in him?” CHRIST accepted the painful death of the Cross so that we might be saved from eternal punishment (John 10:11 - “I am the good SHEPHERD. The good shepherd gives HIS life for the sheep”). Our love for one another may not require such a costly decision as this, but there must be some decision and action.  John mentions material assistance as one example (1 John 3:17 - But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of GOD abide in him?)  James 1:27 - Pure and undefiled religion before GOD and the FATHER is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the SON of GOD does not have life.

How do one knows he has THE SON OF GOD?

1 John 3:23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, and to love one another as HE commanded us. 24Those who obey HIS commands live in HIM, and HE in them. And this is how we know that HE lives in us: We know it by the SPIRIT HE gave us.
