[讨论]How long do you need to read English well in your study?

I think that a lot of you just leave your motherland to study here .But I wonder how long did you learn English well enough to read your professional books and your test books since you came to Singapore?

<P>since i studied diploma for 3 to 4 months, i can read my textbook much easier... but when i was in english lesson, i used to read the newspaper..like strait time</P>

I think that if you are not a native person in the English -speaking coutries , you will be a little hard to quickly use English well unless you spend a lot of time on it . Actually, everything that you do is just the same .
