<p>先拜各位老大!</p><p>小弟刚刚开始做销售，现在公司给一辆车让我每天去拜访客户，现有以下问题请教：</p><p>一，小弟07年10月中在中国拿到的驾照，11月到达新加坡，现已报名打算4月份参加新加坡的考试然后转为这边的驾照，在这期间本人能否在新加坡驾车？现在的驾照上有中英文名称，比如Driving License of the People's Republic of China, Name, Address等，是否还需要去citi hall那边的什么法院翻译？因为听说好像国外的驾照在新加坡的六个月内可以说使用，但是必须是国际驾照或者需要翻译。</p><p>二，在考完基础理论考试后转换驾照时国内的驾照是否需要在公证？还是只是需要在新加坡什么翻译一下就可以了？</p><p>请各位高人指点！</p><p></p>
<p>先谢楼上的。</p><p>我以前也听说过这个规定，但是去了驾校亲自问过警察，他们说可以convert，所以我就在等4月份参加BTT考试了。是不是因为我是第一次来新加坡，并不是中间回去考试的原因。</p><p>新加坡警察局的网站上是这么写的：</p><p>If you are a foreigner holding a valid foreign licence, you may drive in Singapore for not more than 12 months when you are on social visit here. Any longer period of stay will require you to convert your licence to a Singapore licence. <strong>If your licence is not in English, you are required to have an International Driving Permit in addition to a valid foreign driving licence. If an International Driving Permit is not available, an official translation of your driving licence in English is required.<br/></strong><br/>If you are holding an Employment Pass/Dependent Pass/Student Pass/or Work Permit, you are required to convert your foreign diving licence to a Singapore driving licence as soon as possible within 6 months from date you arrive in Singapore.</p><p>本人现在是EP,根据以上来看应该是可以驾车，但是是不是需要<strong>International Driving Permit</strong>呢，本人国内的驾照上已经有英文了，但不是国际驾照。</p><p></p><p></p>
