LS说的对，孩子持家属准证的学费跟PR一样，其它的我倒没觉得有什么特殊优惠
除了学费以外不但没有其它的优惠，有时可能还是一种麻烦。如果父母的准证不能renew或是中途想回国，孩子又要重新申请学生证

我的一个朋友，拿S准证，他老婆和孩子同时申请到家属准证。
 
孩子入小学后，把爸爸和孩子的资料给了学校，为孩子办学生证。其他申请的学生都下来了学生证，只有我朋友孩子的没下来。急！找去学校，讲程序不一样。怕！要退回原材料，以一般学生申请，学校讲不用担心，会享受不同待遇。喜！不久，学生证下来，学费每个月和新加坡孩子相差无几。狂喜！

请问yan1106,您所说的孩子拿的是DP还是LTSVP呢?我的朋友准备带孩子过来读书也想知到这个问题.谢谢

首先，要知道你朋友是什麽准证，因孩子的准证因父母而得。
 
如是S准证，那就是家属准证，那就享有如上待遇。

   首先谢谢你yan1106，  那就是说有优惠了？
 
   另外还有一事相求，我拿的是Employment Pass, 都为老婆和孩子申请到了DP，等孩子放署假后就过来领取。
MOE对小孩入学申请有如下规定：请问如持Employment Pass ，小孩上学是不是就不用考试了？
 
For children whose parent(s) are holding S Pass or Work Permit (R Pass), they are required to pass a qualifying test before seeking school admission (see <a href="http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/international-students/application/#step-a#step-a">Step A</a>).
 
Step A: For children of S Pass and Work Permit (R Pass) holders who do not qualify for Dependent Privileges only – Sitting for qualifying test
Applicants with at least one parent working in Singapore on S Pass or Work Permit (R Pass) must pass a qualifying test (Assessment of General Ability conducted by Civil Service College Consultants) before they can be considered for admission. For more information on this requirement, please refer to <a href="http://www.mom.gov.sg/">The Ministry of Manpower's website</a>.
Applicants can apply for the qualifying test online with <a href="http://www.cscc.gov.sg/gat.htm">Civil Service College Consultants</a>.
The applicant will receive by post a letter on the Outcome of the Qualifying Test. If the letter shows that he/she is eligible to seek admission to a Singapore school, he/she can then approach a school of choice with the letter to apply for school admission (refer to <a href="http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/international-students/application/#step-2#step-2">Step 2</a>).
