“N” Level 今天放榜,谨以此帖做个记录。
Results of the 2011 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) Level Examinations
1) Students collected their Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) Level Examinations results from their respective secondary schools today1.
2) This year, 12,244 students in the Secondary 4 Normal (Academic) Course and 5,675 students in the Secondary 4 Normal (Technical) Course sat the 2011 GCE Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) Level Examinations respectively.
3) 12,195 (99.6 %) students from the Normal (Academic) course have been awarded the Normal (Academic) Level certificate. The Normal (Academic) Level certificate is awarded to a candidate who obtains a pass grade of Grade 5 or better in at least one Normal (Academic) subject. Details of students who performed well in the Normal (Academic) Level Examination are available at Annex A.
4) 5,574 (98.2 %) students from the Normal (Technical) course have been awarded the Normal (Technical) Level certificate. The Normal (Technical) Level certificate is awarded to a candidate who obtains a pass grade of Grade D or better in at least one Normal (Technical) subject. Details of students who performed well in the Normal (Technical) Level Examination are available at Annex B.
Progression to Secondary 5 Normal (Academic)
5) A total of 8,895 (72.6 %) students are eligible for promotion to Secondary 5 Normal (Academic) in 2012. These are students in the Normal (Academic) course who obtain an aggregate not exceeding 19 points in English Language (EL), Mathematics and best three subjects (ELMAB3) and a Grade 5 or better for both EL and Mathematics.
6) This year, 4,224 Normal (Academic) students sat for subjects in the O-Level Examinations. These students are also eligible to proceed to Secondary 5 Normal (Academic) if they obtain an aggregate not exceeding 19 points in EL, Mathematics and best three subjects, and a Grade 5 or better for both EL and Mathematics, using their combined GCE Normal (Academic) Level and their school-based O-Level preliminary examination results.
Progression of Normal (Technical) Students
7) All Normal (Technical) course students who have completed their secondary education in 2011 can apply to further their studies at ITE. Schools may also laterally transfer Secondary 4 Normal (Technical) students to Secondary 4 Normal (Academic) if they have obtained grade A for EL and Mathematics and grade B or better for one other subject at the Normal (Technical) Level.
