这个医疗津贴,Medisave Grant,只是给从2012年8月26日以后出生的公民小孩才有的。在此之前出生的就没有了。还有就是,如果出生的时候不是公民,后来两岁以前变成公民的话,刚开始的1500就没有了,第二次的1500会有。
A CPF Medisave account will be created for each newborn and they will receive the $3,000 grant in their Medisave account in two equal tranches. The first $1,500 will be deposited after the registration of birth, and the remaining $1,500 will be deposited in the subsequent year if the child continues to be enrolled in MediShield or a Medisave-approved Integrated Shield Plan.
All newborns who are Singapore Citizens born on or after 26 Aug 2012 qualify for the Medisave grant for newborns. This grant can help parents defray the costs of their child’s MediShield premiums, as well as other healthcare expenses such as vaccinations. A child who is not a Singapore Citizens at birth will not be eligible to receive the first $1,500 of the grant. However, if the child is born on or after 26 Aug 2012 and subsequently becomes a Singapore citizen before he/she turns two years old, he/she will be eligible to receive the second $1,500 of the grant, provided that he/she is enrolled in a MediShield or a Medisave-approved Integrated Shield Plan.

至于具体诊所,如果孩子是公民身份,他们应该可以查到小孩的Medisave账户余额的。需要注意的是,具体到每一位员工,由于培训或者个人理解不同等原因,他们的回复可能会不同。在这种情况下,坚持一下或者询问其他员工,或许会有帮助。
类似的事情,在有很多客服人员的公司都会发生,例如通讯公司。曾经给某通讯公司打电话咨询一项手机业务,打了3个客服电话,去了实体店2趟,总共遇到超过5位不同的客服人员,不同的人给我不同的答复。最后写邮件过去,然后把白纸黑字的回复邮件打印出来,带去实体店,才把事情搞定。想起来实在是无语至极啊。
