I have been teaching piano for more than 15yearssince finishing my BA (hons) ARTS Piano Performance in 1994 (ShenyangConservatory Of Music, China) and 3 years in Singapore Kawai Music Centre. Iteached across a broad age and ability. My pupils have an extremely high passrate for both practical exams and theory with Trinity/ABRSM. Outside of examrepertoire I like to find out what my pupils listen to and want to achieve andI try consider this as much as possible as the ultimate goal is to enjoy themusic lesson as well as reach full potential. Every pupil is unique and Ireally just tailor the lessons to each pupil's individual strengths orweaknesses. It is proving a sound plan as most of my pupils have stayed with mefor a number of years and steadily progressed to a good level.
