我教中国学生已经十五年了，我认为教他们是一件非常快乐和充实的事情。 从这些年的教育经历中，我觉得中国孩子会很努力，把作业当得很认真，尤其是那些想上高中的孩子。 在我看来，他们学习的最大障碍是英语。 许多从AEIS来到中国进入英语中学的学生都是根据当地小学一年级和二年级的水平确定的。 然而，当这些孩子被我教给我时，他们的英语水平大大提高，他们顺利通过了期末考试。 当然，这并不容易，这一切都需要我和同学们的共同努力。

我不得不为没有教学生从小学一年级到五年级而道歉。很多家长问我为什么。首先，我没有经验，我没有他们从小学一年级到四年级在学校学到的东西。其次，我也觉得这么年轻的学生没有必要接受学费。父母应该鼓励他们的孩子多读书。

I have been teaching Chinese students for more than 10 years and it is a pleasure teaching them. Ihave found most Chinese students to be hardworking and serious in their studies, especially those who come to Singapore to begin their secondary school education. Their problem with their studies is mainly English language, which is a very serious obstacle for many of them. When many of my Chinese students come to take the AEISexaminationto enter Sec 1 or 2, their English foundation is only Pri 1 or 2. Hence, for many of them, it is a great challenge. However, most of them manage to pass in the end after coming to me for tuition. It is not easy, which takes a lot of hard work on their part.

After teaching hundreds of Chinese students for over fifteen years, I can understand the difficulties faced by Chinese students in learningEnglish. Their difficulties are very different from local students. Many Chinese students just could not grasp the English structure initially as they are so used to the structure in the Chinese language but after my coaching,most of them are able to master the Englishstructure and grammar. Some have become even better than local students. That is why it is not surprising that many of my Chinese students can score distinction for O level or A* for PSLE.

English is one of the most important subjects or the most important subject among all the subjects. It is a fact that many of my students are top in their cohort after they do well intheir English. It is without doubt that these students are very intelligent and many of them managed to go to reputable junior colleges like Raffles or HwaChong with their good English results. If they did not do that well for English,but only for the other subjects, they will still not be able to enter such prestigious junior colleges.

I hope you are convinced that I am a very experienced and highly qualified tutor by whatever I have written so far.  When you send your child to me, I will make sure that he or she will improve. This is my promise and I have never failed so far. As for what grade your child can score will depend on many factors. What I can assure youis your child will pass.

我第一个学生就是个来自中国的学生。从那之后，我已经教过几百个中国学生。他们之中不仅有班级第一名，甚至还有在年级里都能排第一的。教了几年之后，我收到了几个MOE奖学金生。和其他中国学生一样，他们也觉得英语很难。Yanhang（下示图中其中一个学生）是我教过的最聪明的学生之一，然而，她一样在英语上犯了难。作为一个在中国成绩十分优秀的奖学金生，她惊讶地发现自己的英语水平在新加坡完全不够用。所以她决定寻求帮助，并被她室友介绍到了我这里来。经过一番努力后，她提升了很多，最终在o考中取得了B3的佳绩，这在她同校的奖学金朋友里已经是最好之一了。虽然我没能成功帮她拿到A2，但如果她没来补习，也许她只能拿到一个C5或者B4。总而言之，我教中国学生的经验丰富，而且我了解他们在英语上究竟欠缺什么。我有个十分有效的教学方法，这可以让他们提升得更快。放心地把孩子交给我吧，你不会后悔的
