Started learning Erhu since 5 years old.
Attained distinction (93 out of 100) for Diploma I’m the examination held by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2015. Obtained stellar results for all grading examinations.
Teaches at Eight Tones Music School.
Joined the Singapore National Youth Chinese Orchestra since 2011, till present.
Went to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China in 2017. Took private lessons with Professor Liu Chang Fu and Professor Zhao Han Yang for a month.
Participated in the Biennial National Chinese Music Competition (NCMC). Awarded with 1st prize for Erhu Open Category in 2016, 1st prize for Erhu Youth Category in 2014, 1st prize for Erhu Junior Category in 2012 and 2nd prize for Erhu Junior Category in 2010.
Participated in the International Chinese Instrumental Competition of Los Angeles in 2015 and was awarded with Gold.
Guest played for Ding Yi Music Company, NUS Chinese Orchestra, NTU Chinese Orchestra and many others.
Student conductor in the Nanyang Girls’ High School Chinese Orchestra.
