Movie Uptown Girls starring Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning is really a fantastic movie. Molly(Murphy) was a partying rock’n’roll princess whose money just ran out. She happened to be the new nanny of this fussy nine-year-old girl, Ray (Fanning) whose last nanny just ran out.

At the beginning, the two girls were fighting because Ray thought Molly never grew up. Molly soon discovered that Ray was pretending to be calm and serious because she could not get over the fear of being alone. The little girl’s mother was a busy businesswoman and the father was a bed-ridden vegetable. Molly talked about her fear about being alone when her parents left her when she was eight plus.
